Cappadocia is a geological paradise that includes the smaller triangle of territory between Urgup and Avanos, as well as Uchisar. Three valleys are the most important where settlements were established in Cappadocia: Soganli, Ihlara and Goreme. The group tours that we offer will take you to the most popular sites of Cappadocia. Our trips depart each day at 9:30 AM and end around 17:00 PM. We have a maximum of 14 people in our group.

Red Tour (North Cappadocia Tour)

Red Tour will begin at 09:30 at your hotel in Goreme, or a little earlier from other cities (we will inform you about the pick up time from other areas at the time we book) and take you to the most significant place in Cappadocia: Goreme Open Air Museum. You can visit the museum's large monastery complex, which also has 9 churches that are more than 1000 years old. The museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide will provide information about the history and museum. After spending about 1.5 hours at the site, we'll drive to Love Valley Panorama Point in order to view some unique shaped fairy chimneys as well as Red & Rose Valleys from a nice angle.

We will then drive to Pasabag Fairy Chimneys in order to view the most-protected fairy-chimneys of Cappadocia. Pasabag can also be called "Monks Valley",, and there are many multiple-headed fairy chimneys. The formation of these fairy chimneys, as well as the whole region, will be explained by our guide. After our visit, we'll drive to Avanos for our lunch at a small boutique restaurant.

After lunch, we'll see the demonstration of kick-wheel pottery in Avanos. This art is almost 4000 years old and was inherited from Hittites. We will then drive to Devrent Valley, where we'll see the fairy chimney that is shaped like a camel. Because the formations in this valley look like mushrooms, fingers, and other shapes, it is sometimes called "Imagination Valley". We will take you back to your hotel at 15:30 after this visit.

Green Tour (South Cappadocia Tour)

Green Tour will begin at 09:30 at your hotel in Goreme, or a little earlier from other cities (we will inform you about the pick up time from other areas at the time). From there, drive approximately 5 minutes to the Goreme Panorama Point where you can see Goreme Town from a higher elevation. The guide will provide information about the region's history and geography. After 40 minute drive in Derinkuyu Underground City, which is the deepest in Cappadocia. This underground city offers all the amenities you would expect from a classic underground city but it is 60m below the ground.

Then we will visit Ihlara Gorge, one of the most beautiful canyons in Turkey. The 3km hike is one of the highlights on our tour. The canyon will be walked for one hour, following the river. We will pass Byzantine rock-cut churches with frescoes. The hiking portion of this tour ends near Belisirma Village. We will then have lunch at a charming riverside eatery.

After lunch, we'll drive approximately 15 minutes to climb to Selime monastery, which is the largest in the area. After climbing up, we will be able to see the monastery, catedral, and church sections. We will then drive approximately 1,5 hours back to Uchisar to visit the traditional stone arts demonstration and Pigeon Valley. We will return you to your hotel at 17:30 after these visits.
